What are the odds Hammet got the idea (if it was his idea of course) for that design from a Bernie Rico Jr. Vixen, like the one ex-bandmate Gary Holt has been playing in Exodus for quite a few years now? IMO the Vixen is a lot better looking, Hammet's design looks somewhat "cheaper" and like he put a Ran-style pointy head on it. I gotta say it looks better than that atrocity they strapped KK Downing to. Man, I've seen some crappy designs, but his V with the trident headstock just reminds me of that polyresin "DevilGirl" guitar they had.
