I mean the Marble-finished Fender HM Strats from 1990. I've had the Blue Marble one for a while, but I'd never seen one in Red until last week. I quickly jumped on it and it is great !!! Let me know what you guys think !!

Well these are referred to as the "heavy metal" Strats. More commonly you'll see Strats with the Strat headstock, 2 singles, a hum and a Kahler Spyder trem. Those trems suck. Anyway, these typically have a pointy headstock, 2 Dimarzio hums, and either a Floyd Rose PRO or Kahler Steeler trem. These guitars are really a treat to play and hear. The older Dimarzios really sing !!!
Get one if you can !!

They are very Talony, or would that be Heartfieldy? Either way, very cool axes.

Wow. Those are exactly what I'm looking for except with maple board. So will an original Floyd drop right in place of the Kahler licensed Floyd? I'm hearing conflicting reports on this. Also, when did the headstock start saying "Fender" instead of "Strat?"Member - National Sarcasm Society
