I'm interested in the history of series 10. I had a friend bought one for like 100 dollars. It had an original floyd, dimarzios, but had all the stuff in there for active circuitry. He told me series 10 was bought by jackson. I can't find anything on wikipedia, or any actual pictures. I moved a few years ago, and don't relly talk to him much anymore so i cant ask him what he knew...

You sure that guitar is a Series 10 and not just a Series 10 neck on another body. Any Series 10 I have found (and I'm just looking to restore my first electric guitar) has a laminant body and reaaaaal cheap hardware. (Wilkinson WB-2 tremolos, Floyd Licensed knock-offs, no-name pickups)Occupy JCF

i havent seen it in years, so no, and i did see the bentley thing come up one place, but i assumed they were talking about the cars... so is there any kind of site that has a history, or anyone else who lived then? i think in 10 years ill be able to be one of those helpers of the newbies, but now im still too young...I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

his had this sick color it was like a sort of snake skin (very loosely) and it had like an overall blue greenish turqouise kind of snake skin, but it had four areas if you will, one yellow one purple one blue one green that came together, VERY hard to describe, and i dont think i can find a pic, but ill see if i can get in touch with hunterI hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. A black Series 10 was my 1st guitar.
Payed a little over 150 back in 88ish.
Maple neck, plywood body and 2 pt trem of some non locking sort.
It wasn't great, but, it gave me a start.
Traded with cash for a Fender USA strat 2 years later.Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

My first one was/is surgical (or seafoam) green, plywood body (as a friend of mine and I joke about laminant bodies... "Layers of Tone!!!"), HSS config, Jackson shaped headstock, 6pt fulcrum tremolo. Paid just over 150 for mine too at Midwest Music in Highland, IN. (long gone if there are any Region Rats on the forum) I remember bringing it home on my bike. I didn't get a case with it, so here I was riding my 10-speed through the streets with a guitar hanging from my side.
I actually still have the guitar. I took it apart several years ago, but recently decided that I wanted to restore it and display it.Occupy JCF
