WOW! I am GASSING for a carvin now! I'll save up all summer and order at the end of school! Do they offer binding? It's okay if they do not as long as it's neck-thru IMO.

That Rob guy is insane. He has like 15 DC7's and even more 6 strings."Dear Dr. Bill,

Is it just me or does anybody else dislike the prices Carvin posts (for ex 749 for an ST300) being lower than the minimum cost of the instrument due to options that you HAVE to take, like for example 50$ regardless of what finish the neck gets, or 54$ for a case??
If I calculate it right, that means minimum price for this model is in reality 853$... that´s a difference of over 100$ /almost 14%... to me that´s just blatant false advertising and enough reason not to buy one right there... If they´re already that shady before the purchase even starts, I don´t even want to know what the rest ends up like... Maybe it´s good that I never bought anything from them....
That said I used to lust after a nice DC 400 in blueburst, but then I found JacksonLast edited by Zerberus; 07-27-2009, 09:36 AM.

As far as the neck, you didn't read the part where it said those were "optional" finishes. Clear gloss is standard. I think calling them shady over the case not being included is pretty low, also.Dreaded Silence - Boston Melancholic Metal

There's nothing shady about Carvin. They make fine quality instruments at great prices.Breaking Point, my all instrumental CD available here:

I'm still possibly getting a seven. I should have the money by the end of the month if I don't spend it on something else."Dear Dr. Bill,

I'd love a Carvin but to order one through the uk dealer is way overpriced and for something i might not like it's a lot of hassle...
it's both a good and bad thing they have low resale good for buyers bad for sellers...Last edited by ozzuk1; 07-28-2009, 02:38 PM.

I may be ordering one next week, depending if I change my mind or not. I convinced my parents that it would be better and ultimately more useful than the TV I was gonna buy. I convinced my mom to next week because the Canadian Dollar's doing good right now so I should order one before the dollar tanks again. I have completely new specs planned. I'll post them in a bit."Dear Dr. Bill,
