Got mine today, plays and sounds great. Pups sounds pretty good, kinda Pafpro sounding. Neck is thicker than a wizard but comfortable, frets are big and polished and the action set up very low with ease.

I went back to the store where I ordered mine, they had the regular rosewood model of the RG350 and I really liked it. Indeed the neck is thicker than a wizard but I kinda prefer these kind of necks these days, as I've been playing "Godin" guitars intensively the past few years.

Saying the PUs are kinda Paf sounding ain't bad at all. My main axe recently has been my Godin Summit with a 59 in the bridge.

I have bought a dillion, a socal, a schecter american series, a charvel model 88, a charvel model 1a, a prs se singlecut, a carvin, a jackson dk2t, a mim fender strat since march. I'm tripping over guitars right now.

NP man, great guitar for 399. I got my DK2M for 399 as well when GC was blowing them out, I don't think I've ever bought new guitars in that range that are so good.

Hey JCM800x, how would you compare that Rg350m to a DK2m? Playability, sound, hardware??? I'm curious.

I know the DK2m is good guitar, but there is something about it that doesn't make it for me. I don't know if it is the large black sharkies or the unpainted headstock...

I would say they are on par as far as build quaility, both have excellent fret work, the Jackson has SD's over the import Ibanez pups but both have an import trem (both stay in tune great). The Ibanez has a 5 way for some great in-between sounds, the Jackson has a 3 way. The Ibanez has a more Dimarzio like mid range which I like but many prefer SD's. If your gonna customize it then I would get the Jackson because of the FR copy over the Ibanez only trem. The Jackson will have better resale if you can find a deal like I did. They both play great so I guess you could make a choice on looks, which one strikes your fancy?

Well I got word that the guitar arrived so I went to the place and they actually had two of them so I could make my pick. I chose neither because I didn't like the way they felt, the necks felt really blocky and cumbersome.

So no yellow Ibanez for me.
