  • Another mutt

    Here is another mutt project.
NOS Kramer beak headstock neck,Chandler body is from a forum member.
It had a Kahler fulcrum trem so I plugged the studs and installed a Fender V trem.
Had some Schaller 90 degree tuners laying around so used them(pearl buttons too).Got the Duncan live wire pickup from another forum member so just need to wire it all up do some final tweaking and we'll see how she plays.
Have another pickguard (2-ply 1 vol) loaded with on old Bill Lawrence 500 and RS upgrade kit may throw that on if the live wire is a little to hot.

Finshed it up tonight had one fret just a hair high got that resolved.
Tweaked the neck and she's up and playing just fine. The neck is awesome like an old Kramer neck should be.
Not real hot on the pickup but its got all the crunch you could ask for no cleans with the live wire!
All around great guitar for a mutt.

Cool guitar. It sounds like a pickup swap is in order, based on what you said.
Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.
