I'm one of those people who scour Craigslist every day, even in times like these where money is tight. Well, yesterday I came across something that caught my eye - an Ovation for the paltry sum of $25. Yes, $25.
I Sent the seller an email and went to check it out today, and turns out that it's a 1982 Ultra 1311. It was the low-end model at the time, but for the price of 2 cds, I figured I couldn't go wrong. It's not in the best cosmetic condition; there are cracks in the lacquer and some of the binding was reglued at some point, but it plays well and sounds even better.
I've wanted an Ovation for years, and I'm psyched to finally pick one up.
