Got a Blueshawk ... Holy shit !!!

Got a Gibson Blueshawk today. It's Red with 2 Cream "Blues 90's" single coil pups. It has a 3 position blade switch and a six position Varitone switch. It also has a pull tone pot.

The word I have for this is TONE !!! This baby sounds GREAT in many positions !!

I had one years ago and traded it for an Ibanez USA Custom and I missed the TONE.

If you have a chance to try one, do that !!

I'll post pics perhaps tomorrow for those who'd like to see.

This one is from 1997. Really a tone monster. They don't make new ones. I'm surprised you didn't like the old ones Straycat.

Thats pretty sweet HF I do like the looks.I may have just had a few really bad ones.
The ones I had had different pickup layouts.

This is the only way a Blueshawk comes. You may have had a Nighthawk which comes with different pup configurations and no varitone switch. That's gotta be the case.
