That looks like a players guitar. Did they also have a double locking Edge II? I didn't realize there was a single locking version.

Yeah man I remember when he played the cheaper Roadstars w/o locking bridge.

That's a sweet piece of history!!

            Oooh nice!
I always liked those. I never realised that they had a painted neck and contoured joint, I just figured that it was an "update" based on the old Blazer models.

One I don't think I will ever understand, is why Ibanez's "high quality" and signature models have no binding and/or are bolt-on! I think for top dollar, the quality should be higher!
I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

I hear ya. Think of this. This guitar's body is solid Mahogany, the pups are strong and smooth Double Whammy Dimarzio's, the fretboard is Ebony, the tuners are Sperzels. Also consider that this was made in very limited numbers.

All of that make this a great and sought after axe. I love it !!

since when does binding and bolt on have anything to do with quality?

quite sure that there are plenty of neck through bound guitars that are shit

Cool. Now you just need the one with the multi colored paint spots on it. Was that a production model ever?
