Thanks guys. I love doin these things. I dont know what it is. Maybe its the thrill of pulling the tape off and seeing what it looks like. Kinda like unwrapping a present. Its christmas all over again. I still want to do a B/W frankie and a relic'd frankie. So I have a more projects. But those probably wont happen until after the house is sold and i move etc... So like next summer or so.
I fixed the pup issue. It turns out the hto wire to the switch was touching the chassis of the switch and half grounding out. So i cut the wire shorter and ereslodered it. Sounds great now and the extra noise when i moved the selector switch back and forth are gone too. I also shimmed the nut which helped the action issues and the string control problems at the lower frets. So it plays great and sounds awesome now.
Im a happy camper.

I have to say, it looks like a MM neck to me. I had one very similar (identical) in a Lynch Strat copy. It was a great neck too.
It's hard to say for sure as they're almost identical to most strat necks but instinct is telling me that it is.
The Schecter Logo looks like a decal too.
