Dean VMNT huge cavity?

hey guys, dont know if this is a repost or not but... i've red some Dean VMNT1 reviews, and some people mentioned a huge cavity in the guitar, making it almost an hollowbodied guitar... for those who have or had one, is this true? =(

There's no way to tell on mine. The electronics cavity isn't too big, and I even unscrewed the battery box to see, but it doesn't go all the way through. It's supposed to be a lighter mahogany body, and it's set-neck construction as opposed to neck-thru. It's not all that heavy, but it's not really very light either. If there's any chambers under the top, you can't tell.
