  • Rickenbacker Copy

Ever since I picked up bass I've dreamt of having a 4001 or 4003. Well financially that's not a reality

Anyway found this El Degas copy. Any thoughts on the quality or if there's any decent in production knock off's? This one's from the 70's by the way, MIJ.

He wants $240 but I'm going to trade my old Squier bass for it.

Yep I felt like I robbed the guy

A 4 year old made in Indonesia, bolton, agathis bass for a 1975 neckthrough high quality Rickbacker copy. Granted I still have somethings to do to it, it still sounds better and plays better. And looks better! One thing I need to do is the bass string side screw on the bridge pickup is striped so right now the bridge pickup is a bit hard to use because it moves around a bit. Might just get a replacement Rickenbacker one. Also, I plan on replacing hardware and hopefully, the truss rod cover for a Rickenbacker one.
