Best place to get a Chris Holmes style guitar made?
Yeah, GMW would probably be the most economic way other than building it yourself. And Lee does great work. But, if you want a strat or JC pointy head, then GMW won't do it.
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I like that "Rhodium" guitar. It reminds me of another famous guitar, but I can't recall which one...

couldn't you just splatter a Charvel star with yellow and black paint and then beat the holy hell out of it with a hammer? Or were you wanting a non-distressed version?
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil
GREAT question! I can't imagine why you wouldn't put in a c/s order. Might as well ask if anyone makes Ace Frehley style guitars.

Sarcastic answer?
If you are trying to say that the request for a Star with 1 hum and a tun o matic is not doable, I could not see why not. The OP didn't ask for a CH replica, I couldn't see them not doing it.
He didn't specify paint or anything artist similar in the post.
Not quite the same as asking for a unique shape, like a Frehley model.
Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.
actually not being sarcastic at all. i think it's silly NOT to put in a c/s order for it. my guess is that the OP wants the guitar without paying the price for the real deal, but that's me being a cynical tool.
