  • Twisted Sister Jay Jay French Epi Les Paul?

Hi, all. Staying at the Orlando, FL Hard Rock Hotel, they have a wickedly cool Jay Jay French Epi Les Paul in a wild pink burst:

Epiphone claims it's from their "Elitist" series and is essentially a Standard with black hardware. Anyone know anything more about this model, and where you can find it for sale? Checked eBay, nuttin'...

I also own a Les Paul Custom, and this thing destroys it in every possible way with the exception of it's Ugly Duckling looks. Srsly. The black hardware on your pic is odd, as all the ones I've seen are nickel.

You see them on Ebay once in a while. Pretty good prices from what I've seen too.

Thanks for the info, guys. Here's the actual one in the Hard Rock:

But all the ones on Epiphone's site also show black hardware. I dig the pink burst, but can't find one for sale...

I do see ones in black too. Not sure what it all means.

This was posted over in the Smakk Chylde thread. This black hardware version looks to be a cost shaved new run of some kind, my guess MIC.

I'm pretty sure mine will destroy these new crappy ones.
