I am pretty sure it was invented by Kermit "The Frog" Jackson for Great White guitarist Karl Sandoval... isn't that is where the "shark" shape and the white color came from? :think:

Andy Roads (common misspelling is "Rhodes", don't feel bad) was the guy who played that polka-dotted guitar, which was because he was a huge fan of that other guy who played a polka-dotted guitar, Buddy "No, I'm not Canadian, why do you ask?" Guy.

I haven't seen any builds by Karl in a while. Anyone have one? I emailed him a few years ago and he wanted $4K to custom build one of those. I do like the authentic harpoon headstock!

This is pretty close. I actually like everything but the harpoon headstock and the 21 frets. I'd rather have their "modern" headstock on that guitar.

I was thinking about that guitar and my ideal version of it would be a KV2 with the KV2T headstock, bow ties, polka dots, chrome hardware. The KV shape is the only guitar I like that headstock on(SLS, KV2T style) for some reason.
