I think that's a Fusion Special, but I'll dig through the scans to be sure.

D'oh, just noticed the logo. Not toothpaste. It's going to be a Japan-market axe. Some kind of SDK. Back to the scans...

I was doing the same, but the logo had me thrown. Everything else looks legit.

Ah well, the guy want silly money for it anyhow, about US$720

Here's an SDK-080-SH. Looks very similar:

            more:

There's a big gap in the Japan catalogs between '89 and '93, and there were tons of cool guitars in those years.

It doesn't match up to any of the US released ones that I can see. Either the bridge pickups are angled or like the fusion plus(which it's close too) has a neck humbucker.
The biggests issue is the logo. I think it's a japanese market one since it's still has the old logo and by the time these came out in the US they had the toothpaste logo.
              too slow.

I guessed it might be a Japan market only model. All sort of weird grey import stuff ends up here!

                Thanks guys.

The trem is wrong and looks like it was moved toward the bridge pickup.
                  It's pronounced soops

It's a non-recessed trem with pullup route. Very common on guitars from the late '80s to the early '90s:

Not sure whether the trem has been changed or not. The baseplate doesn't look like a perfect match for the route, but some of the Japanese market guitars had different trems (Takeuchi, iirc) than the JT-590 or others we're used to seeing over here.
