  • 2001 Journeyman

I found an used Charvel Journeyman which I like a lot. Can you tell me if $500 is a good price? Also, can you share some experience with this model? Are there any particular caveats to look for?

    Thanks

I like mine - it's a nice player. It has an alder body but it is very light. They came with a single hum (Duncan JB), volume and tone with a coil splitter and a v trem. $500 seems a little high, even for a mint one.

200-250 is what I would pay for a mint plain color one, I would go higher for a trans or quilt top.

I have paid 400-450 for the model A which is much nicer.

They are great guitars. The neck is awesome, but I agree that $500 is too much. They usually go for less than $300 on ebay.
