    Charvel model 1 with vtrem currently stock

    want to replace neck with a strathead but it has the cutout for a floyd nut 1 11/16th's

    You would just need to use a foyd nut on it and leave it unlocked, because locking it would necessitate fine tuners at the bridge.

    You could try to retrofit a gibson style nut on it, I guess.

      They sell non-locking nuts that retrofit a Floyd locking nut. I remember seeing graphite...

              If its a non pitched headstock you may have to use a string retainer bar (ie kramer style) To get the proper downward pressure over the nut.
