  • Charvel TE custom

    Hello!
Can someone give me a clue? I just bought a Charvel te(telecaster) custom with serial number 385663. It has got an exact telecaster head and not the straight head that´s in early nineties catalogs. It´s black with cream bindings, three singel coil with split on the tone control. Does any one have the possibility to help me out?

It's most likely either a regular TE with a replaced neck, or a Japanese-market-only guitar. Can you post pics?

-edit- I found this pic of one that looks like what you described:

That looks nice! I'm pretty sure it would be from the early to mid '90s, and like I said up top it would have been made for the Japanese (and possibly European) market only due to Fender's trademark on that headstock shape in the U.S.

This is the actual guitar. I´m from Sweden and bought it there.
I hope it gives you a clue. Thanx for answering!

I have found out that it is a ´93s Charvel TE Custom model, very rare here i Europe. This ex has probably been owned by Roxette´s guitarist(if any one remembers them) Jonas Isacsson.
An excellent instrument, I also have one model 4 and the neck shape is a perfect match, so I´m happy with it.
