You mean TSO? I saw them in December.. I went to hear Prelude to Madness. I wore all my Savatage stuff and every old person there looked at me like I was a reject.

Got it. I call myself a Savatage fan but I haven't listened to much of Gutter Ballet-- only When the Crowds Are Gone. I'm more of a Sirens, HOTMK person but I do play some Streets and some Edge of Thorns.

It's fine. For some reason, the rosewood that Chushin Gakki was using on the 1989-91 'toothpaste' Charvels is very rough-grained like that. All of the ones I've owned and played in stores have been that way. It's no big deal and doesn't mean the wood is dried out or anything like that. Rosewood, unlike ebony, doesn't need lot of oiling etc.
