It's fine. For some reason, the rosewood that Chushin Gakki was using on the 1989-91 'toothpaste' Charvels is very rough-grained like that. All of the ones I've owned and played in stores have been that way. It's no big deal and doesn't mean the wood is dried out or anything like that. Rosewood, unlike ebony, doesn't need lot of oiling etc.Originally posted by savatage View PostComment
