My OFR was a direct drop into my Model 6 with the new studs (www.fretsonthenet.com). But I've also heard some like Tricky needed to do a small amount of routing. My gear

An OFR is a bit wider than a JT-6, and every once in a while there is some rubbing of the collet (or socket that the trem bar goes into) at the bottom edge of the trem route. It seems to happen more often on USA Jacksons that had JT-6s than on Model Series Charvels for some reason, maybe because of tighter tolerances. Anyway, it's not likely that you'll have the problem, but if you do, it's a very easy fix to remove a little bit of wood from that part of the route.

The one I have on the Model 4, is a black OFR with threaded bar, that came off of a striped 80s Kramer.Models
The prudes may snub them, but I don't care.
I dont need furniture.
If its tough, shreds, and screams, Its all good.
If it gets jacked, I'll get another one.
And rock that sucker.
