My first model series, (had a 475 for a while, great guitar aswell)
After a bit of a setup and slight cleaning today I have this to say:
Awesome, awesome neck.
Very barebones, good platform for maybe some modding. But likely instead of modding the original body I'd have another body made and just swap the neck
The pickup... ah... the pickup...
Basically, Jackson f'n NAILED this pickup, this is probably the best sounding guitar I have, even compared to Duncan Distortions, Blackouts and Dimarzios, this one is just amazing. And thats saying a lot because I really think the other guitars I have sound excellent!
Otherwise I wouldn't own them
Its hard kinda to get used to a guitar without a floating trem, but thats why I wanted it, a change of scenery. And it does just that
