Did you buy it off ebay? I bought a body off a guy who ALSO claimed it to be alder and from USA. When I questioned the authenticity he said "Fort Worth TX USA" I told him he was misrepresenting people by claiming it was American made. He didn't seem to care and got pissed off at me. I still bought it for $100 because it's a nice 375 body. He still is advertising stuff like that. I should report his ass.Comment

Repainted the Charvel Fusion White today, decided to do my set neck guitar in the Cyan Blue colour. Also doining my 5150 Kramer in the EVH Bumblebee paint scheme as well as a Black telecaster....

Probably. I had a 275 dlx in all black with the single locking Floyd. I didn't like those Pups at all, those frets are just too chunky for me unless i'm using 11's or higher (i'm a 10s kinda guy)
anyway, i ignored the fretting for the moment, and put some P-90 soap-bars in the body, had it wired up gibby style, but decided to hot rod it (single vol with a treble bleed, and a 3-way) refinished it in white, got all new floyd hardware to make it double locking.
I'm just in a fuck it for now mood until i can afford a trem-setter, and either get the neck re-fretted, or get a Warmoth made up.
Do you guys know if heavier gauge helps these floyds stay in tune better?Comment

Test assembly then a final coat of clear. Waiting for the speedloader strings then off to Ormsbys for a setup.....
