From all accounts they are great guitars though. Well-built, good components, etc. And even $450 is a good price for it. $375 would be a steal.Scott

I wouldn't say they are just as good as a USA Soloist, but they beat the hell out of any of Jackson's current Japanese guitars, IMHO. $375 would be a *great* price for that guitar, since prices have risen on Model 6's in the last couple of years. A decade ago, you could get them all the time for under $300, but people finally caught on to them.
It's either an '87 or an '88, since those were the only two years they used a Floyd.

well again awesome info. i would just say that perhaps todays "steal" is tomorrows collector? i think thats what i was asking. seems like the popular opinion indicates its a good buy on a quality instrument - i dont see it depreciating if well cared for and probably something i should try hard not to pass on...so time to make an appointment......I will secretly play a Les Paul when nobody is looking...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, NEVER post a guitar ad on this forum if you're interested in it yourself. JCFuggers will snipe or back door that shite right out from under you.
