Any Info on them? How were the pickups? How about the neck? General built quality? Going rate? There's one I can pick up locally for $70, I thought I'd use it as a beater for band practices.

I had one, got it for $100. It was a really nice guitar made in Japan. The pickups sounded brittle and weak to me so I replaced them. Sounded great after that. Neck is great, not too thin and jumbo frets. A friend of mine liked it so much, I sold it to him and he still has it. 70 is a great price for a guitar of its quality, I say go for it.
