And no, I'm not seeing any ads for skeet cleaner. ( Ah the benefits of being platinum... )

Dude...cut me some slack...I'm old, bored and married for 10 years. I certainly don't get a word in edgewise in my house...at least let me talk and pretend like I know what I'm saying!

          • I just hope they are good playing guitars. USA...Japan...doesn't matter to me.

It's not just important, and it's not just an apostrophe. It's an all-important apostrophe. :ROTF:

              • they use the Charvel San Dimas address, as its an icon of where the brand came from.

They still own the PO BOX.. i was on the phone with Mike Kotzen when he told me he was on the way to renew it...

                      • Uh, all the original model series had plates that said Texas, but we all know they weren't made in Texas.

It does say Made in Japan on the headstock of the new ones, right?

yeah but the promods say made in the usa on the neck plate, so I would hope they're changing that.

                          • Yes the MADE IN THE USA is whats disturbing if indeed they are being made in Japan. Im just speculating as I havent seen any pics of the plates.

The plates of the imports will NOT say made in the USA. They may still have the San Dimas PO Box...that's fine...as long as they don't say "made in the USA"...which I'm sure they won't. Not to mention, the headstock says "Made in Japan".
None of the old imports ever said "made in the USA" on the plates...even with the Fort Worth Address. I wouldn't worry about it.
