Lets show some love for the Model 5

Ok I know you guys seem to post on here primarily about the M4,M6 and M88 but I think the coolest Charvel import ever has got to be the Model 5.It looks so cool and rock`n roll while being understated.But plug that bitch in.turn her up and..................stand back and feel the heat!
I love my Model 5 more than my Les Paul and some times more than my Soloist.Now if I could only find another black cherry one with a Kahler..............but my electric blue with jt6 is doing me fine at the moment,

Yep, I have to agree that the Model 5 is one of my favorites. I have a 87 black cherry with a JT6. I actually prefer it to the Model 6's I've had.

My 87 black cherry model 5. Bought new by me in 87 from my first real job after high school. The Jackson electronics are out of it and it currently has SD Blackouts in it. I'm mulling a refin, fret job, and OFR installation on it. Not necessarily in that order.

Hi Don-my Lester is a genuine GIbson but I do think the Model Series Charvels,and the current Usa Jacksons come to that,are streets ahead in build quality and playability.Not always tonally better but thats a whole other area.

For some reason the the 5A I have sounds incredible with the EMG81.I'm not too hot on EMG's but in this guitar its all you could ask for tone wise.
I had a 5FX in fire crackle years ago and it was nice but didn't play as good as this one.
