I don't mean any particular guitar which is or has been owned by a famous musician, but "normal" Charvel import guitars. You can mention the model + manufacturing year too if you wish.

Well it may help me buy one! I just got a Model 4 and 650XL very recently to go with my Jacksons. The 650XL is just bad ass and I will let you know what I think of the Model 4 when I get the trem all swapped out. Think I may save up for a 750 Next!

Sought after? Among Charvel enthusiasts I would say (in no specific order):
Spectrum, Model 7, Surfcaster, 750 XL, Model 88

I would say these three are the ones that generally have the most interest from the general population on auction sites.
87-88 Model 6
87-88 Model 4
87-88 Model 2

I will take all the 1986 Model 3's out there if anyone wants to give em up . I just swap out the trem for a Kahler Killer and ....PRESTO CHANGO.... instantly awesome guitar!!

As for the neckthru's...I prefer Model 5 series over any others..sharkfins just don't look right with "Charvel" on the headstock. Then again neither does a neckthru .

Model 5 with replaced inlays (sharkies)..

Especially the ones from late '88 that had the guitar shaped logo but had a Floyd nut from the factory.

Hey - I liked my 86 Model 4 - but let's face it - it's less sought after because of the Kahler. There's a lot less kahler fans than Floyd Yankers.
