I am looking to make a copy of the 750xl, no offense to the real ones but I would like to make it neck thru, reverse headstock, have the neck be a tad thicker by the nut and fast as hell down by the 12th fret and recess the Floyd. But I am looking for some specs so I can have something to refer back to.

Well if you make it a neck thru, that's a pretty sizable change. I don't think they make a single piece of mahogany that transitions into maple, so it will either need to be a mahogany neck or a maple body (center at least).Comment

I'm not sure a recess Floyd will work on an XL clone.
Sounds to me that you're actually describing a Model 6 (or 650XL more precisely) with a reverse headstock!Comment
