I really don't know what any Charvel models are. Any info regarding this (eg, what it is, how much is it worth, etc) would be helpful.
Thanks.

It's a 375 Deluxe. (Import) This should be moved to the Import Charvel section.
Love the Maple board too.
Looks clean... probably run about $300 - $400.
Import? The plate says Fort Worth Tx. on it. Hard to see but when I put it in Windows paint, I could just about make it out. Is it fake? Would there be any reason to fake these? I am not trying to be a smart ass, I really have no clue about Charvies. I just know that some dude wants to trade my Ibanez VBT700 for that. But I want to know more about it. He didn't seem to know much more than "I've got a Charvie to trade you if you're interested".

The imports had the Forth Worth address on the plates because that was the PO box for company at the time. There originally would have been a "Made in Japan" sticker on the headstock as well. They are decent, generally well built Japanese guitars. If the VBT700 is worth the price that RJ mentioned then I'd think about it.
It's really weird. I bought the Ibby at GC for 400 bucks 2 or 3 years ago. Apparently they didn't make a lot of these for some reason. It is an ok playing axe. Not the best I've ever played, but certainly not the worst. Thing is, I have it on CL for 300 or trade for a Fender MIM bass. Then he asks me if I was interested in the trade. I have never had a Charvie before. I doubt it would even be a player; not sure... worst case scenerio, I put that on CL for the same offer. I want another bass (because currently I am a bassist). Anyhow, guitar comes with OHSC. I just needed more information. I didn't want to get ripped off, and I certainly don't want to rip someone else off.

Thanks. But I don't see that number listed anywhere.

So I made the trade. The guitar is in pretty nice condition. Plays well with lower action than the Ibby. I need to put some new strings on it and clean up the fretboard. Then I will play it a little and decide if I am just going to sell it to fund another MIM bass or hand onto it. But I am not unhappy with the transaction.
