  • NGD....a bit late. The Charvel Spectrum is here!!! pics inside

Here it is!! I finally scored a Charvel Spectrum. I have been looking for a while now. I wanted either the sea foam green, or the orange. I found orange. Its a damn nice guitar!!! man these things flew under the radar. plays great. its got a few of your normal chips and dings, but overal its very nice. it needed a good cleaning. I tore it down completely and cleaned it, and reassembled it. the frets are damn near new condition, really nice. I was lucky to find the maple fretboard as they are pretty rare on spectrums. the wah filter is a cool feature too. I have that on my USA Fusions too. kinda neat. anyhow, you dont see the Spectrum models with maple boards too often. it needed a little TLC, but NO problem! I got it firing on all 8 now. its a great guitar. damn nice ride.

Hahaha! Love it! The pics ARE bright, so in person must be outright dangerous. Where did you find it?

The orange and the sea foam/ turquoise were always my favorite colors on the Spectrum. The guitars them selfs I thought were always kind of funny looking though. You may occasionally hear me kindly referring to them as Speculums. Nice score though, I dont see many for sale often.

I had that same guitar, played killer. I probably traded toward a hum equiped guitar, wish I could have kept more than a couple of guitars back then.

Nice! Did it come with the OFR? If so, extra-nice!

There is a pawn shop near me that has a sea foam spectrum for sale. They are asking $250, but not sure if its worth it. Its a little beat up, but nothing that couldnt be fixed.

Great looking guitar tonemonster, I like the orange. Here is my sea foarm Spectrum. My camera makes it looked kinda washed out and faded, it's actually a lot more of a vivid color than the pic appears.
