Middle pickups are overrated.

Thats my main gripe, the middle pup. To me, its utterly useless and just gets in the way. Looks kinda stupid too. Ultimatley I prefer HH but HS is also acceptable, just throw a nice hotrails in there or something. I like a beefy neck pickup.
