Will the improper innotation of a guitar cause string buzz? I have a model 1 with horrible string buzz on the low E and some on the A on frets 5-8 with fret 7 being the worst. The rest of the strings, and the frets do not buzz. I noticed the saddles on the E and the A are pulled down farther compared to pictures of other guitars with a vintage tremolo. The neck looks straight, the frets look unplayed, it's not in tune btw and all of the string height is adjusted the same.:think: All opinions please! Thanks

INTONATION. Will not cause the string buzz youre describing. Sounds like either the saddles are too low. The saddles should follow the radius of the end of the finger board. Typically 4/64ths at the 12th fret. Some like it lower but this is typical. I adjust from there to get it as low as possible without string buzz.
either out of radius or you have some high frets.

intonation should not have anything to do with fret buzz, it is adjusting the lenght of the string so that the string is in tune (as best possible) the whole way along the fret board

sounds like you have uneven fret heights or the saddles (or bridge) is too low, or the neck angle (and or curvature) is not adjusted correctly relative to the bridge

Hey Doc send it to me and I'll fix it.
There should be a matching radius in the saddle height.
I didn't look that close when I saw it in the store so I'm sure it needs a set up.

Could it not also be in need of a truss rod adjustment?
