NGD! 1986 Charvel Model 3

Was not sad to sell my 1987 Model 3. While I loved the sharkfin neck, I just hated those stupid little on/off switches and the mid-boost did nothing for me as well.

Always wanted a simple 1986 with the standard 5-way and behold!

A local find for $250

And no the OFR and Super 3 did NOT come with the sale!

I think you meant Model 4,sharkies and little on/off switches, but they do tend to be a pain.
I like that blue color,I had a Model 2 in that color a few years ago, actually it was about five years ago.Wow how time flies.

Wouldn't a 1986 come with a Kahler 2500? Were the post re-done or is this a later model?

Right you are! It was a 1987 Model 4

The blue Model 3 is an 87 or 88.
The 86 model 3 had a Strat pickguard and Kahler 2500 trem.

Are the tuners marked Jackson (TM), or Jackson (R)?

that is sweet. I agree on the mini-toggles on the M4, but I find I don't change to the single coils a whole lot anyway due to the drop-off in volume.
