When did Charvel start producing again in Japan? JAPANs with gold logo? 8 digit seria

Hi, i ran across a charvel with 8 digit serial numbers start with 06xxxxx. The seller claims its from japan.

It also has a gold logo. it has an OFR and seymour duncan.

am i looking at a parts mutt? or is it a usa?

Also, is there a database with the newer Japan model serial numbers?

I had an old import Star that had the gold 3x3 head guitar-shaped logo. I think those came out in the late 90s/early 2000s. IIRC someome said they were a Musician's Friend exclusive. Made in India I think. I don't recall the serial number details, sorry.


I'm assuming this is a Pro Mod you've found which are now produced in Japan?

The headstock is a pointy with a gold logo, minus the Made in USA script. Purple ghost flames. I'm confused about the neckplate because everything else points to a San Dimas or something USA.
