What was the original color TM? I ask because I'm puzzled by the regular looking headstock. Fusion Customs usually come with a matching headstock. The body looks like a Fusion Custom.

Oh, and n3p, save that guitar. The color might be a collector someday. Maybe...

It is a fusion custom to my knowledge, the original color was desert crackle with matching HS. someone refined it black headstock, and did the charvel logo in white (its damn near perfect too) then the body was fugly green purple flip flop. so I left the headstock black, and refined the body to bengal. I was looking on ebay for months for the perfect "donor" guitar to do a bengal refin. this was it. the green-purple flip flop was friggin hideous. so a guy I work with is a autobody tech, and he painted it for me. I helped and did the design of the stripes. I did the prep work and masking stuff. he painted it, cleared it, and buffed it. not a bad graphic job for a few evenings and $75. its not PRO, but I am not embarrased to uncase the guitar in front of anyone. its nice.

set it up yourself. Plenty of us can talk you through it if you have any concerns. You could do it in an evening and not have to part with her

Very nice find. To get one in good original shape is not that easy.
Cool color, agree the aging adds to the hip factor.
          It is unique.
My fav guitar ever is a '89 Fusion Deluxe.
Just joined, will post pics soon.

I like the color. Vintage looking is a good thing. Nice score!
