  • Model 1A transformation

Well last week I picked up a Model 1A that had not been treated that well. She had red nail polish everywhere, it looked like a dog chewed the paint on the lower left corner, and it had 1/4" of dust on everything.

A friend of mine Hal Loo from Mural Lab worked his magic on her and she turned out pretty damn sweet!!!!!

    Here it is last week:http://www.jcfonline.com/threads/119...ork?highlight=

Here is now with a few final touches still needed. I'm trying to decide what color and style knobs and switch condom and it still needs two OEM saddles. She is Kandy Tangerine and looks killer in the sunlight

Hope you had it routed to take some full sized buckers.

Nice guitar. Almost looks like mine

I added single ply black PG and Dimarzio Fast Track 2 in the bridge, it was fun
Two guitars are better than one.

They have a swimming pool route. no routing necessary.

Yes, they do, but it is a shallow rout not deep like the model 3a has. If youve got humbuckers with deep tabs or long screws you will need to do some modding to make them fit. I had one once that someone modded with a chisel. It was ugly inside but looked great with the pickguard installed.
