Just thinking lately I have seen an absolute ton of these.

There were 2 on Gc's used site last week I saw. Theres one in Texas up on craigslist, 2 or 3 more I saw in the past week around the country.

I thought these were somewhat rare...

Am I mistaken?

I have had 3 over the years and though they are nice just like my Archtop Pro I just never got into em much. Not sure if its the neck profile or that me an mahogany dont mix.

Thinner body
Ebony instead of rosewood
Different headstock logo

I can't think of anything else. Very similar IMO.

They're not super rare, but not as common as a lot of other Japanese models, because they only made them for a year. They seem to go through uneven cycles as far as availablilty. Months will go by with none around, then you'll see a few. Seems like lately most of the folks who have them are hanging on to them, but the bad economy is probably forcing some people to sell.

I saw one in a store recently that was listed as a Model 6. You don't even want to know what I got it for.
