Hello. This is my first post but I thought maybe someone here could give me some informaton on this guitar. Can someone tell me, is this the MIJ Charvel 475 Special from 1989 or the MIJ Charvel 475 Deluxe from 1990? Thank you!

IIRC the '89 475 Special had a Strat body (at least some of them),
the '90/'91 475 Deluxe had a Dinky (7/8 Strat) body. What is the S/N ??

I have the exact same guitar and I believe it's a 475 Deluxe from 1990 or 1991. Dinky body, Metallic Black, Jackson actives, Schaller Trem. Killer guitar - I love mine!

Just to address what Franx brought up, there were no full-size strat bodied 475s. The '89 275 was the only toothpaste-logoed pointy to have a full-size strat body. Those also had the last of the old JT-6 trems. The guitar here could be from anywhere in the '89 - '91 range. Some people have been trying to work out dates of the bolt-ons by collecting serials, but I haven't seen any hard results yet.
