  • Pink Charvel

Does anyone know what models of Charvel came in champagne sparkle pink. A local music store has one with no photo and the only description is Charvel Jackson with trem. I emailed them only to get a reply of the color, not sure what model they say, and it has 2 pickups with a trem. Price $250.00.

Sure sounds like a Model series, and I'll say that all or most came in that type of color...here's a pic of a Model 6 from a '86 catalog:

I think champagne sparkle pink sounds like Burgandy Mist and to my knowledge that was only offered in 1988. According to the catalog scans, the following 1988 models were available in that color:
Model 2, 3, 3A, 4, 4M, 5, 5A, 6. There were also a couple of basses that year that could have that color. The only two models that had two pickups were the 3A and the 5. $250 is a good price on a 3A in good shape and a great price on a 5 in decent shape.

Cool, thanks for the info. I will call tomorrow and see if I can get more specs such as fretboard wood, sharkies # of frets etc. Will try to get neck plate info also.

3DR's came in Burgundy Mist in 86 I think.
That's 2 pickups also. S/H, 22 fret, Rosewood with dots.
