Here's an earlier work in progress shot for those that are interested...

It's still in the clearcoat stage. Once it's back in my hands I'll throw up a bunch of pics of the finished guitar as well as the floyd conversion.

Well I finally got to take my own pictures of the guitar. It looks amazing in person. The guitar plays fantastically as well, Mike did a killer job on the fretwork. The fret edges are kind of rolled like a pro-mod.

There was an error on the build. It was supposed to have an unfinished/tru-oil neck but Mike ended up painting and clearing it. He made it right by me however and I'm still thrilled with the end result.

As far as work done besides the paint, the guitar had a level/crown/polish, the tuners were replaced with locking Schaller tuners. An OFR was installed and a nut shelf was made/installed to hold the floyd nut. Mike also cut a new truss rod cover as well. Anyways, enough with the jibber-jabber, here's the porn...

And a close-up of the floyd nut shelf...

            DAMN!
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

I am! The guitar always sounded awesome, but now it plays better than ever and looks killer to boot. My RR1T is already giving it dirty looks.

Thanks for your business Drew. It did play sweet after it was all set up. The frets came out real nice. Plenty of room on them. The pics are fantastic. Do you mind if I use them for my website?
