Crackle finish

I've taken a liking lately to the crackle finishes especially the lava crackle & I'm courious how they do these finishes, does anyone know? Here is one I found online.

Ive only done it by accident. Using enamel primer and then a lacquer topcoat. Not pretty.

Guess it's coming back into style seeing as I've seen the crackle thing used on some women's nails.

I've always liked the finish. Should have my Pro Mod refinished like that.

Maybe Green/Black.

I have a CAR Futura that is ugly as sin and I always think about a white/black crackle for it
