ALL THESE "NEW" MODELS LOOK LIKE OLD CHARVEL MODELS with more bling.

Oh dear. Just when the Charvel brand seemed to be gathering real momentum. I do not want to sound stuck in the past, but 20 years ago I aspired to play a Charvel guitar. Models such as the 750XL and fusion were cool designs, well built and had a very playable neck. The mid-90's San Dimas guitars were also a fine addition. Charvel then sadly went through a period of disappearing and then re-launching. However, when I played a yellow So-Cal last year I was really impressed. The Japanese Pro-Mods were also superb. I cannot fathom why they now feel the need to bring out a dumpy ESP Eclipse rip off that captures none of the unique Charvel vibe.

I hope this is not going to signal the end of Charvel once again. How about a Japanese made DeMartini model and a new Fusion :-)

Sadly, I sold off that guitar a couple years ago...but if memory serves...it said Neptune, NJ....not made in...so...I guess you guys are right. I don't really care...I've never had a problem with ESP. They made and still do make some very high quality stuff (I'm not talking about LTD...I don't even know when that stuff came around). I remember ESP when they got guys like Lynch and Hammet 25 years ago. That was cool stuff...and not cheap.

Recently, I picked up an Eclipse II Standard...one of the nicest guitars I own. And I should also mention..their customer support was PHENOMENAL. I bought the guitar at a local store...after a few days, I noticed that the ebony was starting to crack in places. Rather than take it back to the store and deal with their bullshit, I just called ESP. They were happy to take it back and send me a new one. It was worth the 80 or 90 bucks I paid to ship it.
Anyway...enough of my ESP talk. We are talking about Charvels (that look like ESPs

I don't think these are even thinking about the Charvel fan. That's what the Pro-Mods are for.

    Also,
How does this destroy what Charvel has built up? This isn't replacing anything. It's expanding the line. According to Bionic, nothing is going away...
Lest you're trying to say that because of these you will never buy another Charvel? If so, why is that?

How do the Desolation guitars affect the Pro-Mod line in any way, shape, or form?

Perfect name for this new launch. Why?
