Hi guys,
I have a Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 2H that was damaged. The body needs to be replaced, but everything else is just fine. So I was thinking, instead of getting a new San Dimas body, I could get a So-Cal body instead (just because I prefer the looks).
I think all I need to get is the body, a pickguard and an ouput jack. I could then install all the hardware from my San Dimas onto the new body. Am I right or wrong?
My understanding is that the necks are completely interchangeable. The bridge looks
identical, except for the color. I think I'd need some screws and springs to mount the SD pickups. The volume knob and pickup switch look identical.
Please tell me if I'm wrong or if I forgot something. Thanks in advance!
