    Ikebe Gakki So Cals?

    I was shocked to find these on Ikebe Gakki, along with several other strange charvels,

    It literally says custom shop on the headstock! What's the deal with this does anybody know? Are these made in a separate shop from the USA So Cals we had pervious years?

    Maybe this belongs in USA Charvels, but seeing as it's Japanese market only, I don't know.

    A few years back at one of the Japanese guitar shows they had what looked like a bunch of production charvels that had chrome hardware and tone knobs. Could be one of them.

      some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

      some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

      and finally....

      i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

            I don't think so.
            I think they were J-Market only while we were getting the pointy HS.

            There should be some record of them here if you search back 3-4 years.

                It's not unheard of for the J-market to get USA-made Customs, so I'll go with these are from the Corona California shop.
