    I believe it's a 2002 Model A. If I'm wrong I will be corrected quickly...

          thanks again, hellbat!

my guitar does have the duncans and feels heavier than basswood.

they had a really nice san dimas at the store when i bought this. toggle instead of strat switch...just the way i like it. just one knob for vol...just how i like it. 3 piece neck.

that guitar deserves a better player than me tho...so...

                i couldn't be happier.

the neck is...amazing. the 18v duncans just scream, they're so incredibly hot.

i'm not big on floyds, so i unlocked the nut...and yeah, its a really nice guitar.

appreciate all the info i've gotten from here

Seen one of these is blue at a pawn shop around here for $169.00.
I passed as I didn't like the headstock.
Good to hear you like it.

                        What a strange serial #

                        It follows the India format

These did not follow any other serial number formats. I believe the first 2 digits is for the year.

No, it follows the India format: 8 digits long with first 2 indicating the year.
