2002 traditional neck vs new MIJ Pro Mod

Hey guys,

I waiting to receive a 2002 (?) Traditional I just picked up off the bay. It has the quilted alder body and RW fingerboard. I missed a Model A plus by five bucks a couple of weeks ago so I guess this is a close second. Does anyone have one of these and can you tell me how the necks and fretwork compare to the new MIJ pro mods?

I can't find much info on this. Was 2002 the only year it was made?

2002 is more d shape and the new ones are a c shape. the fretwork is great on both.
