Candy will be sparkle/metallic finish and Ferrari Red is a plain bright red finish.

I just received my candy red San Dimas the other day. The candy red is not a metallic color at all. I scoured the web prior to choosing the candy red, but could never tell the difference between the Ferarri red or the candy red from the pics I found.

In person, it's almost a pink-ish fiesta red that some Fenders come in. I have a trans kandy magenta US San Dimas, and (believe it or not) it's not very far away from that color.

FWIW, Other than some sniggly paint issues and a slightly rougher feeling neck, the two are VERY similiar. For the money, it's an awesome axe! I'm crossing my fingers that they come out with some more awesome colors next so I have a good excuse to buy another one!
