I'm really digging this design. Metal flake paint, single EMG humbucker, matching headstock. As soon as I see them start popping up online here in the states I'm getting my bad self an early Xmas present!

I dont usually buy new guitars, but if I find one of those at a decent price, I think Ill pick one up. Just something that I really like about it... IF the board is ebony which it looks from the pics.

Flames & chrome hardware go like peanut butter & jelly.

That color scheme? Not so much.

Have any of the Wild Cards been overly popular on here? From what I recall, most have been hated by the majority. lol. By the way, is there a link that has a neat, tidy list of all the Wild Cards and specs?

Perhaps, I'm blind, but I don't think this one looks all that bad. I wouldn't buy it because I generally don't care for flames. The battery box is a shame. That is one of the most needless "advancements" in guitar building in recent years.

The fingerboard looks like it's been cleared over in those shots.

I had an ESP MII Camo a while back and the Ebony board was coated like that. I was told that it is done to all ESP Ebony boards to seal the Ebony and helps to prevent cracking. It is designed to wear flat over time and becomes unnoticable. Since I did not play it much and have since sold it who knows?
